I recently had the pleasure of attending the Fertility Forum, an event run by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London. This was an information day aimed at people who might be considering or already undergoing fertility treatment. The day was not in any way commercial, but simply offered the attendees a chance to hear from a range of experts on topics such as recurrent miscarriage, infertility add ons and gamete donation. Thinking about fertility treatment can feel overwhelming at times and it is not always easy for would be parents to navigate the services being offered by the NHS and the private sector. I am delighted to see that the Royal College has recognised the need for an event like this and hope that it will be held again next year.
